Expressions of Interest for shows and workshops at the 2024 Brisbane Improv Festival (23 - 27 July) are now open and close Friday 8th of March.
WHAT IS THE BRISBANE IMPROV FESTIVAL?
The Brisbane Improv Festival is a celebration of Brisbane's diverse and talented improv community.
Hosted by Big Fork Theatre since the inaugural festival in 2021, it’s now held at our theatre in Fortitude Valley. Celebrating all things improvised comedy, the Brisbane Improv Festival will showcase some of this city’s best and most innovative comedians and performers as well as visiting guests across five nights of live shows and workshops.
Comedy, musicals, surprise guests and more - the Brisbane Improv Festival has something for everyone.
Last year’s festival was held on the 22nd - 29th of July 2023 - with 23 incredible improvised shows open to the public, and 22 different workshops for improvisers to expand their skills. We hosted shows from around Australia and New Zealand, this festival is not to be missed!
